Home again for more than 10 hours this time. Second time this week I’ve landed at 11 pm, gotten home, gone to bed and then realized I’m too hungry to sleep.
Also, for car relevance, t he Grand Caravan I spent the last two days in was godawful. Does the transmission on those last beyond 10K miles?

I can’t either, because I’m temporarily blind and covered in cats. Glasses are somewhere in my suitcase...

That’s terrible. I’m just finishing my second wagyu cheese burger.
Is there no takeaways open you can get a delivery from?
Hell I live in a small city and can get a takeaway delivered at 5am in the morning with some alcohol.

So you have the problem that you could find your glasses if only you were wearing them so you could see? I had a colleague who always had that difficulty . Couldn’t find them because she wasn’t wearing them.

I have an excellent recipe for cats. Though you have to be able to cope with robust flavours because cats taste pretty awful...

1. They adapt to driver, so driving a rental or someone else’s will make the trans feel horrible. Takes about 2 tanks of gas for it to adjust to someone’s driving style.
2. They last as long as a person maintains them. Under usual Mopar ownership, about 80k miles is all one can expect. Under an owner who maintains it properly, they’ll go 3-4-500k miles without issue.

Not really, it is palatable . Kinda like a less game- y rabbit, goose, and deer all rolled into one . Texture is about the same as rabbit, really lean and muscle-y.. . Dog on the other hand, once is enough.

What generation of GC is it?

It was a 2019. Felt as motivated as a school bus, and it reallllllllly didn’t sound like it was happy dealing with the snow in Indy on Sunday.

That’s interesting. Maybe it’s had so many different drivers who abuse rentals that it’s just given up on life.

I probably could’ve gotten a delivery from somewhere still open, but I don’t live in a part of town where anything is open past ten so it would have taken forever. I dug some cheese and crackers out of the fridge. :(

Possible. Also possible it’s always been driven by older people like our van was.
When we got ours it shifted terrible unless you were babying it. After beating the hell out of it for 2 tanks of gas, it now shifts beautifully. It’s crisp, it downshifts instantly, and it always finds the right gear ( except around 27 mph, then it’s annoying ).

1. shit box caravan shifts like crap because of previous driver and how the computer adapts shifting patterns to drivers, this is why all cars should be manual.
2. I highly recommend keeping emergency non-perishable food in house for occasions such as this.

That’s exactly it. I thought my backup pair were in the bathroom but I must have moved them.

I do the go to bed hungry, fail to fall asleep, search desperately for food thing once a month or so. Keeping up with this stomach can be a chore sometimes.

The one I had was definitely not the pick of the meat on offer at the time . With you on the dog...
